Average Freezer Space REQUIRED
Average Freezer Space Required
A good rule of thumb requires approximately one cubic foot of freezer space for every 30-40 pounds of cut and wrapped beef. Allow slightly more space when the meat is packaged in odd shapes.
Quarter beef: Approximately 5-6 cubic feet.
Half beef: Approximately 10-12 cubic feet.
Whole Beef: Approximately 20 cubic feet.
